Australian Crocodile Traders (ACT) currently exports crocodile meat to South East Asia, Japan and New Zealand and are also in the process of becoming EU (European Union) approved. ACT has also obtained FDA registration allowing the Crocodile products to be exported to the USA.
For those companies interested in importing crocodile meat, ACT is able to provide all required exit permits from Australia including a CITES permit from the department of the Environment and Heritage office in Canberra and a Health Certificate obtained thought the EXDOC system governed by AQIS and applied by our freight agent CT Freight.
EXPORTING OF LEATHER GOODS
The exporting of leather goods form Australia is governed by CITES and is issued by the Environement and Heritage office in Canberra. ACT is also able to provide this document prior to shipment as requested.
All importers should check with their local authorities for rules and regulations for importing crocodile meat as all countries vary with import regulations.
